WOMEN'S
2010 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
|
Women's Team Only Camp - July
23-25, 2010 |
Team camp is limited to the first 16 teams that
enroll and secure
their place in camp. The intent of this camp is to
prepare teams for the upcoming season by focusing on
total team improvement. Teams will train together
and the emphasis will be placed on team
fundamentals, including: tactical strategies,
defensive organization, team attack, mental
preparation, leadership, nutrition, and team
performance. Each session will include full-field
tournament games, culminating in the camp World Cup
Champions. In the evenings, enjoy coaching seminars,
team building, and group activities.
1) Improve Your TEAM'S Lacrosse Intelligence
(LAX-IQ): JU WOMEN'S TEAM camp is all about
teaching your entire team the college-level game. It
doesn't matter what your team's knowledge and skills
are before camp. Our focus is on what YOU want to
see your team improve upon tactically from the
inside out!
2) Develop "THE BOND" that you want your team to
have. Start developing your team's relationships
and mental toughness through the Team Fin Team
Building Program! In order to BE successful, your
team has to learn to BELIEVE!
3) Compete at Camp with teams from all over the
south region. Tired of playing the same teams
all the time: learn to adapt to many different
styles of play at team camp! Compete in a variety of
games and situations in competitive environments.
Coaches bringing their teams (15 or more) will
receive a coaching stipend, meals and housing, and
will assist the JU Lacrosse staff during camp. Coach
alongside of college coaches from across the
country. Pick their brains at nightly chalk talk
sessions. Take part in our innovative Team Fin Team
Building Program.
Our camp is all about YOU and YOUR TEAM and taking
it to the NEXT LEVEL! We customize your experience

Women's Individual Camp - July
28-31, 2010 |
This is an open invitation to individuals
of all skill levels (Advanced, Intermediate,
Beginner). All campers will be placed with players
of similar ability and experience for skill
instruction. Learn the latest skills, techniques,
and concepts of the game, as well as strength, speed
and footwork training. Goalies will have their own
training sessions with collegiate coaches and
players. Seminars include "How to play at the
college level", leadership, nutrition, and sports
psychology.
Graduation Years: 2010-2016
1) Improve: You can count on our camps to
help you improve your game. INDI camp has THREE
SKILLS levels (beginner, intermediate, and elite) to
push you to be your best. Camp has Skills Groups AND
scrimmage teams that focus on building your game and
your confidence!
2) Develop: Coaches from top NCAA programs,
including Division I, II and III headline the
teaching staff for the Individual camp. JU Lacrosse
always brings strong coaches to camp. All of the
staff members are excellent teachers first, not just
from marque schools.
3) Compete: In addition to skills groups,
compete in dozens of fun smaller games,
competitions, and full-field scrimmages. You can put
your new skills and knowledge to work in a
super-fun, competitive environment. The camp will
have as many as three camp championship teams and
lots of other competitions.
4) Learn: from the off-field breakout
sessions - key to your development as a player and
your preparation for the 2011 season! While many of
these sessions are optional (pool time, or camp

“It was her favorite camp ever. She's been
going to summer camps at ____ university & university of
____ since 6th grade and winter camps at both schools since
8th grade. Mindy has a great thing going with that (JU
lacrosse camp). Expect many more kids from our area coming
down in the future...” - Parent of an experienced lacrosse
player who attended JU Lacrosse Camp for the first time
after attending multiple Division I camps elsewhere.
I just wanted to thank you for a great week at camp and for inviting me to see the school! I had a ton of fun during my visit and I hope to come again some time in the near future. The camp was the most intense lacrosse experience I have had and I have had some great ones! Thanks again! Samantha N, Baltimore, MD
I just wanted to email you to say thank you for having me to camp. I had an amazing time! I felt like I really improved my game over the past four days. Ashley D, Annapolis, MD
I'd also like to let you know that the JU camp was AWESOME-even with the Myan temple steps. Compared to the
____ camp it was much more focused on the college coaches. I felt that we had more of their attention individually in the drills. There were many more drills that didn't repeat, and they broke down defense really well. Kudos to Mindy and everyone else! Katie S, Orlando, FL
I thought you might like some feedback on your camp. My daughter, Kelsey B thought it was great. She loved the themed teams and skit night. She has been to three camps this summer and she enjoyed yours the most. Beth B, Nashville, TN
I am sending this email because I just wanted to thank you again for the AMAZING lacrosse camp. I had so much fun meeting everyone and I learned so much. I knew that took you a lot of planning and I wanted to say thanks just one more time. Nikki E, Georgia
